Nokia X5-01: Mobile for Teens?

Nokia has today announced a teen-oriented QWERTY music phone Nokia X5-01 at a press conference. This is the second phone of theNokia X5 series.

Nokia X5-01 is targeted mainly at the youth and it is clearly evident in the wide social networking integration on the phone. X5-01 comes with popular social networking services like Facebook, Twitter, Hi5, and MySpace, along with popular Instant Messengers(IMs) and multiple email accounts.

Nokia X5-01 features a 2.36-inch QVGA resolution display, Series 60 v3.2 UI,  a slide-out fullQWERTY keyboard, 5 MP camera with 4x digital zoom and LED flash,  200 MB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card (2GB card included in the box), Ovi Music, 3G connectivity (HSDPA), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS with Ovi Maps, microUSB and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Nokia X5-01 will be coming up with excellent sound quality and loud speakers and the music playback on the phone can be controlled with gestures like spinning the phone etc.

Price And Availability:

Nokia X5-01 has been announced on June 14, 2010. The device will be launched first Indonesia during Q3 2010 at a price of €165 ($202). The price of Nokia X5-01 in India is expected to be around Rs. 10,000 INR.
