Motorola Flipout QWERTY Android Phone



Motorola has announced its latest mobile technology called Motorola Flipout with a cool folding design. This handset will be sold in china with a name of Motorola M511. It has a 2.8-inch touchscreen display with a 3 megapixel camera and a 5-row QWERTY keypad. The Flipout runs Android 2.1 with a 600 Mhz processor, microSD up to 32GB, 512MB ROM and 512MB RAM. It also has the latest version of Motoblur, Motorola’s controversial custom UI skin that goes on top of Android, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi connectivity and FM radio. The Motorola Flipout has a price range from $29.99 on a 3-year to $347.99 no contract.
Motorola has revealed another smartphone that will surely capture mobile users because of its clever design. The mobile phone is dubbed as the Motorola Flipout Android phone.  Consider it odd, but the Motorola Flipout Android phone comes packing with its 180 degrees twist yet with a flipping QWERTY keyboard in five rows.  The QWERTY keypad is given after you have slide the mobile phone around.


Running the Android 2.1 OS, the Motorola Flipout features the latest MOTOBLUR user interface.  The MOTOBLUR UI syncs your friends, messages, emails, pics, Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace feeds with continuous updates through the message widgets.

The Motorola Flipout Android Handset comes with variety of colors – Black Licorice, Saffron, Fairway Green, Poppy Red, Raspberry Crush, Rebel Pink, Dark Sapphire, Raspberry Crush, and Brilliant Blue. Motorola says the Flipout will be available by the second quarter of June 2010, most probably mid-June.   No words about the price yet when released.
