Panasonic DMC-FZ28S Digital Camera

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28S is a 10.1-megapixel camera that features 27mm wide-angle Leica lens which have been designed to capture long-distance shots and extreme close-ups. This technology is partnered with 18x Optical Zoom that allows the camera to capture every detail of an image and allows users to expand their photos without losing the quality.

Just like most high-end compact cameras, this Panasonic model features “intelligent” technologies including Auto Mode that makes it easier for photographers to automatically focus the lens and shoot fast-moving subjects.
Another impressive “intelligent” technology is the Face Detection that works by automatically focusing the lens to up to 15 faces, adjusting the exposure and setting, and shooting the subjects. With this feature, it is easier to capture dramatic portraits which come in vivid and well-detailed colors.
To prevent under- or over-exposed photos, DMC-FZ28S has Intelligent Exposure that automatically adjusts the brightness depending on the lighting condition.
The camera also has Digital Red-eye Correction that eliminates “red-eye” which happens when the shots are taken at night and the person looks directly on the camera and the flash bounces from his eyes.
Meanwhile, the device has Gyrosensors that detects hand-shake and correct this, thus preventing blurry images. This feature is complemented with Intelligent ISO that works by detecting if the subject is moving and will adjust the shutter speed to prevent hazy shots.
Other features include Scene Selector that automatically selects the most appropriate scene mode; Venus Engine IV that allows the camera to shoot 2.5 shots per second at high resolution; and HDTV compatibility.
